This is how not to do a ground wire properly.
This was a ground wire rigged by an inexperienced technician. It’s incredibly dangerous and could seriously hurt someone. We don’t recommend ever using tools like this to circumvent a proper repair.
Especially when it comes to electrical issues and issues with wiring we can’t stress enough to call in the professionals. We encourage boat owners to get involved with the care and maintenance of their boats, but things like this really should be addressed by a certified technician.
